Who are

In this file is stored all the information on the raised subject, among which:

  • number of band ( breeder ID + year + number ) ;

  • sex;

  • type;

  • father’s band;

  • mother’s band;

  • cage ;

  • dates of birth, death, sold;

  • physical characteristics whose descriptions are to be inserted at will,

  • behavioural characteristics of parents, breeding of origin and destination

  • unlimited notes at will about the breeder;

  • photo or any digital image ( bmp, jpg, jpeg, gif, tif, etc. ) ;

  • Normal evaluation cards and in stamm of all the Shows in which it has participated.

It’s important to notice that only with the data of the two parents the computer can go up again to the genealogical tree up to the fifth generation, minimizing the errors of data entry.

To make the program most flexible we have made modifiable the writings of the physical characteristics from the breeder, allowing also to change them among a type and another of the breeding; a breeder can memorize the weight, another the measures of the wings, etc… to change the writings it’s necessary to access to the Technical Cards Window.

Initially, the file contains only a male subject and a female ( ZZ999-1970-0-1980-0), which must be used to insert the subjects with unknown parents. To enter a subject it’s necessary to know the number of bands of its parents, therefore the insertion of a breeding has to bEgin from the oldest subjects, continuing in this waY towards the new generations.

In any moment it’s possible to modify the data of every subject, the computer will take care about modifying the genealogy of all descendants ones, but for practicality we advise to insert all the correct data from the beginning since the errors of paternity and maternity migrate on the whole family.
